"Lykosia Kipling" & "Petit Loup Sage" puppies were born on 5th January 2025! Puppies will be ready for their homes after 3rd March 2025.

 

Kipling is from the Lykosia Black Panther x Lykosia Callisto litter from July 2023.  Sage is a beautiful girl from an unrelated bloodline who lives with our awesome guardian family who are breeding and raising this litter. They are well-trusted friends we have known for over 16 years and are experienced in raising puppies to a high standard in their family home.

From this litter we expect some exceptional puppies in temperament, type, conformation and colour for the advancement of the Lykos Wolfalike breed, including wolf grey and agouti. Both parents have great hip/elbow scores and have been approved for breeding by the Lykos Wolfalike Council of Australia.

 

Kipling's influence will add some larger height to Sage's smaller height, and we hope Sage bring some lower tail carriage in the puppies. 

 

Puppies from this combination are expected to be very 'wolfy' and stunning quality!

Puppies will come with

• Their first vaccination (done at 6 weeks old)

• Regularly wormed (including heartworm) at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks

• Have started crate training and basic obedience training by the time they go to their new homes

• Sold subject to our standard Contract (puppy sale agreement)

• Subjected to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI)

• Temperament Assessed/tested at 6-7 weeks old to assist in matching puppies to the right home (we do not take official reservations before this age as they are still developing their little personalities)

• Exposed and habituated to all house hold (and outdoor) noises and environments, children and our other family dogs.

• While they are with us, we do not allow people to visit with dogs who live outside our home to protect them from contracting any virus or disease. We generally don't take our adult dogs out on pack walks or places where they could bring back any virus to our home. The health of our puppies is crucial to us! 

• Raised with toys, sensory objects with fun and positive obstacle training, which builds confidence and promotes neurological development.

• As we work from home, we spend a lot of time with our puppies individually, doing basic training and getting them ready to succeed in the world.

• ​We make recommendations on their temperaments at around 6/7 weeks old, but carefully monitor the progress of each pup and their temperament from birth, using the Volhard method and our extensive 20+ year experience in assessing core temperament traits, to ensure the best fit for their new families.
